Vishnu Swami was born to Vaishnava parents and grew up going to Gurukula in Bhaktivedanta Manor ISKCON UK.

At the age of 11 (1996) he moved full time into the Asharam in Mayapura Gurukula where he resided for 5 years.

At age 13 (1998) he took initiation from his most beloved Srila Gurudeva, Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja.

Immediately when finishing Gurukula at age 16 (2001) he traveled with and Guru receiving the rare fortune of getting directly mentored.

At age 23 (2009) Vishnu Swami was made the world youngest Swami.

Has taught in 19 countries, and speaks 4 languages including Hindi and Bengali, to crowds as large as 10,000.

He is the Author of "Eternal Dharma".

One of his preaching services was to lead 10 Brahmacharis and Sanyasis for yearly-3-month expeditions into the deep villages of Bengal where he would give class in Bengali daily and organized a program of 6,000 for his beloved Srila Gurudeva.

He is now intentionally controversial and known as “The Maverick Monk” because he separates what is culture and social expectation from Bhakti and believes the Vaishnavism needs a new social application if it is to make a large impact in the world again.
